About Unknown Projects

Built from curiosity. Run with discipline.

An independent York, Pennsylvania software company that grew from side projects into products, client systems, and a real operating company.

The story so far

From unknown to working.

Not every experiment becomes a company focus. The ones that matter get built, operated, and improved.

Unknown Projects begins

What started with Discord bots became a place to build, test, and ship ideas that did not fit neatly anywhere else.

From bots to full products

The work broadened into Windows desktop software, AI tooling, websites, infrastructure, and a dating platform built around an underserved community.

Product discipline meets local business

Unknown Projects began applying its end-to-end engineering approach to businesses that needed credible websites and systems—not just code handed over in a folder.

Unknown Projects LLC

Pedro Torres and Zachary Gladfelter formalized the company with 50/50 ownership and a clear split: business operations led by Pedro, product engineering led by Zach.

Two products. One company standard.

WindOp and Just Curves are the product focus. Client work remains a second engine—where the company brings its own product lessons to other people's real problems.

Leadership

Shared ownership. Clear responsibility.

Unknown Projects is a 50/50 company with distinct ownership of business and engineering work.

How we work

Principles that survive the deadline.

The values only count if they show up in the source, the rollout, and the way a problem is handled when it gets awkward.

01 · Ship real

Working beats performative.

We prefer a verified release, a real client outcome, and an honest limitation over a polished claim with nothing underneath it.

02 · Own the full path

The handoff is part of the build.

Source, deployment, data, security, backups, documentation, and recovery all belong in the definition of done.

03 · Stay specific

Design the actual thing.

We resist interchangeable products, generic client sites, and features that only exist because everyone else has them.

Use what we build, follow what we learn, or bring us a problem worth solving.
